NDN is committed to the quest of improving Health services to the district population through the following policies and strategies:-

• Campaigns about fight of HIV/AIDS
• Sensitization and Advocacy for primary Health Care e.g. homestead Hygiene and Improvement in Nutrition.
• Strengthen Issues of Public Health through Community Radio and Outreach programs.
• Supporting the construction of health centres
• Running a youth reproductive Health outreach program.
• Supporting the construction of safe water sources e.g. gravity water, protected springs etc.
• Supporting the building of latrines in every homestead and Institutions like schools.
• Advocacy for the inclusion of maternity services on health centres to offer services like:
  • Child Nutrition
  • Family Planning
  • Post Natal Services
  • Immunization
  • Spearheading sensitization campaigns about life threatening diseases and situations
